My First Pointe Shoes

My First Pointe Shoes is a beautiful and informative keepsake for Energetiks’ customers who are getting their first pair of pointe shoes - an important moment in a young dancer’s life. The book contains detailed answers to common questions about how to prepare and care for pointe shoes as well as improving essential strength and flexibility required for good pointe work. I designed and typeset the book, illustrated the sticker page and provided editing, proofreading and print production management. The colour scheme, typography and illustration style strikes the right balance between fun and educational to suit the target audience; teen girls who are starting to take their dance training more seriously.

Our first order of these books sold out online within a week and received excellent feedback from customers and retail staff.
